About us

After reading Linda Sue Park’s novel, A Long Walk to Water, we were inspired by Salva Dut’s story. After doing some research on him, we discovered the Water for South Sudan Foundation, and decided that we should raise money for it. We also began looking deeper into the water crisis, and realized that so many other countries were struggling with something we can use everyday without a thought. So, after we reached our fundraising  goal, we decided to help efforts for clean water across the globe.

Our goal was to raise $1,000 for the WFSS Foundation. We accomplished this goal in late 2020, and proceeded to focus on clean water efforts across different countries. 

Our new goal is to raise awareness about the need for safe water around the globe, and to help different organizations bring this water to countries that need it.
